Not a flood of random pitches but a private club: 777 verified investors and projects you won't find anywhere else.
The 777-seat cap is built into the platform's architecture, not invented for marketing.
About the project
Coplay is a private investment platform in the form of a mobile app. It connects verified startup founders with a community capped forever at 777 verified investors.
Open platforms such as AngelList, Crunchbase and Republic are open to everyone, which creates noise: thousands of unvetted projects, anonymous profiles, little trust. Serious investors drown in irrelevant deal flow while strong founders get lost in the crowd. Private clubs exist, but they are offline and reachable only through personal connections.
Coplay brings the private club into an app and rests on three principles: scarcity of seats, manual verification of every member and exclusivity of projects, which are not listed on other platforms at the same time.

Revenue model
How the platform earns
Founders pay nothing to list, and the platform earns on results: 1-3% of capital raised when a deal closes, plus 0.5-2% equity by agreement.
Investors pay for access and services. The Standard plan for business angels and private investors is $4,800 a year, Premium for funds and family offices $9,600. On top come in-depth reports at $299-499 and a 0.5-1% fee on the investment amount.
The project documents put average revenue per investor at about $6,500 a year, so at 80% of the 777 seats filled, subscriptions alone bring about $4M a year.
Why Dubai
The DIFC and ADGM regulatory frameworks are built for fintech and investment platforms, Dubai has over 4,400 startups, smartphone penetration across the Gulf is above 90%, and the D33 agenda aims to double the city's economy by 2033. The MENA venture market per the project data passed $3.5B and grew 10x since 2015.
The website runs in English, Arabic and Russian, and the roadmap continues with Europe, a web version and a white-label product for accelerators.
Buyer questions
What's ready?▾
Per the project documents the iOS and Android apps, backend, founder studio, investor feed and editorial panel are done. Identity verification and billing integrations were in progress.
Why can't the cap be copied?▾
The value of a private club is that seats are finite. The platform that fills its 777 seats first owns that asset, while open platforms would lose their audience by capping themselves.
What documents come with it?▾
The business plan, marketing plan, overview, full feature spec, financial model, brand book, presentation and website pages for founders and investors.
