Today a trip is pieced together from 5-8 apps. Vroom puts it in one cart.
One account, one cart, one booking history and one rating system from search to receipt.
About the project
Vroom is a super-app for travel and short-term rentals. Car rentals, stays, yachts and tours sit in one interface, with flights and transfers on the roadmap. The focus is the premium and business segment, where customers pay for convenience and experience.
The short formula: Booking.com, Airbnb, Rentalcars, GetYourGuide and Aviasales in one app with a premium-brand interface. The user doesn't hop between services or go through five different checkouts.
The platform owns no cars, villas or yachts. It is a commission marketplace: partners list their offers and get an analytics dashboard, and Vroom earns on every booking. The model scales without heavy spending on assets.

Categories and commissions
How a booking works
- 1One searchCars, stays, yachts and tours in one set of results.
- 2One cartA car, a villa and a tour add up to one trip.
- 3One checkoutOne payment and one booking history for every category.
- 4Partner dashboardEvery partner sees their bookings and analytics in real time.
Economics of one booking
Revenue model
The core revenue is a 12-18% partner commission per booking. On top come a customer service fee of 2-5% or a flat $2-15, in-app promotion by impressions and clicks, a Vroom Premium subscription at $9.99 a month or $79 a year, and a Partner Pro plan at $49-149 a month.
An example from the project documents: a week-long business car rental in Dubai at $700 brings the platform $101 net after card processing fees.
Market: UAE and CIS
The global online travel market per the project data is $857B, the UAE travel market $22B growing about 20% a year, CIS online travel $14B.
The launch bets on two geographies. The UAE has over 200,000 Russian-speaking residents, a Russian tourist spends $1,800-3,500 per trip to Dubai, and smartphone penetration is 98%. With Airbnb gone and Booking.com restricted in Russia there is a vacuum, and the CIS middle class travels actively to visa-free destinations: the UAE, Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
