About the project
Nomertap is a service built on the Nomerogram model: anyone can photograph a car and attach the photo to its plate number. A plate search brings up every photo already posted about that car.
The main use case is buying a used car. The seller tells one story, and the photos by plate show another: where the car was parked, what shape it was in and whether it was photographed after an accident.
The service is built for Azerbaijan: local plate format, with the region decoded from the code. Users create the content themselves, so the database grows with no data collection costs, and every plate page becomes more useful over time.
How it works
