Find a doctor, get a consultation, order medicine and call an ambulance in one place.
Today the country's medical infrastructure is fragmented, and patients piece all of this together from different sources.
About the project
Medicore is a digital healthcare ecosystem for Azerbaijan. It works for two sides. Patients find a clinic, doctor, pharmacy or lab for free, check the map, prices and verified reviews, and book an appointment. Clinics, pharmacies and ambulance services get a flow of patients and a partner dashboard for their daily work.
The market's problem is fragmentation: there's no single place in the country to find a doctor, get an online consultation, order medicine and call for help. Meanwhile 68% of health spending is paid out of pocket, so private medicine is growing and competing for patients.
Global analogues of the model: Zocdoc in the US, Practo in India and Southeast Asia, Vezeeta in MENA. Medicore adapts this approach to Azerbaijan and integrates with the state e-prescription system.
Four modules for patients
For facilities
A partner dashboard for clinics, pharmacies and ambulance services is built into the platform: a CRM for clinics, accounting and stock for pharmacies, a doctor's workspace and appointment schedules.
The first 6 months are free for partners, so clinics and pharmacies can join with no risk. Then commissions switch on, plus paid priority placement at $50-200 and advanced analytics at $30-100 a month.

The Azerbaijan market
Why now
The Ministry of Health launched e-prescriptions in November 2023, and over 80% of public clinics are connected. The number of private clinics in Baku grows about 10% a year, the Baku startup ecosystem grew 44.8% in 2025, and 74% of households have internet.
The platform is free for users, so there's no barrier to entry. Revenue comes from partners on every completed transaction. Next steps on the roadmap: insurance partnerships and expansion to Georgia and Kazakhstan.
