About the project
FinModel is an app for building financial models fast. The core idea: the user never writes a formula. They assemble a model from plain blocks like Sales, Staff, Rent and Loan, and the app computes monthly profit and cash flow and explains every figure in plain language.
It suits founders who need a model for a bank or investor but don't want to fight Excel: services, retail, food service, online businesses and even personal finance.
The engine computes the money people base decisions on, so the math is covered by 320 tests: annuity and differentiated loans with payment holidays, taxes, depreciation, payment deferrals, seasonality and subscriptions with churn.

Which country's taxes?▾
The tax logic targets Russian regimes: the simplified system on income or income minus expenses and sole trader contributions. The engine doesn't compute VAT for the general tax system, and contribution amounts are set in fields rather than hardcoded.
What's needed before selling?▾
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows shows an "unknown publisher" warning. A code signing certificate costs from $200 a year and is added with one line in the build config.
